About
The fuzzy kiwifruit is a vigorous climbing vine native to southern China, bearing brown-skinned fruits with bright green flesh and a tart-sweet flavour. Originally called "Chinese Gooseberry," New Zealand exporters rebranded it "kiwifruit" in the 1950s — and the name stuck worldwide.
