Bred for over two thousand years by Tibetan Buddhist monks in the Himalayas, the Tibetan Terrier was never sold — only gifted as a token of good fortune. It sports distinctive large, flat, round "snowshoe" feet that spread its weight across snow and provide sure footing on rocky mountain slopes.
