About
A greyhound-lean cat whose coat consists entirely of soft down — no guard hairs or awn hairs — due to a mutation in the LPAR6 gene, leaving just tightly waved velvet rippling along its arched back. Cornish Rex cats originated in Cornwall in 1950 and are famous for staying kitten-playful and heat-seeking well into old age.
