About

One of the oldest terrier breeds, the Manchester Terrier was developed in 19th-century England to control rats in textile mills and hunt rabbits—a dual purpose reflected in its lean, muscular build. Its signature glossy black-and-tan coat fits so tightly there is not a wrinkle to be found, earning it the nickname "the Gentleman's Terrier."
