About
The Peruvian Pepper Tree, native to the Andes from Peru to southern Brazil, is a 15 m. evergreen tree with bright pink fruits called "pink peppercorns" that are unrelated to black pepper. The tree is host to the pepper-tree moth, Bombycomorpha bifascia, which feeds on the tree's leaves.
