About
The southern brown kiwi, also known as tokoeka, is a flightless bird native to the South Island of New Zealand. Unlike its North Island cousin, the southern brown kiwi is nocturnal and spends its nights foraging for insects, spiders, and other invertebrates.
Life cycle
