About
The Asian lady beetle is a highly variable ladybug introduced from Asia that now dominates North America, appearing in color forms ranging from pale yellow to deep red with 0–22 black spots. In autumn it aggregates in massive clusters inside homes seeking overwintering sites, releasing a pungent yellow defensive fluid when disturbed.
