About

The magnolia green jumping spider is a translucent lime-green hunter of the southeastern United States, so pale and see-through that its internal organs are sometimes faintly visible through its cuticle. Unlike most jumping spiders it hunts mainly at night, relying on unusually large eyes to stalk prey among the leaves of magnolias and other broadleaf trees.

A spiderling emerges from the egg sac already in miniature adult form and starts catching prey almost immediately.
