About

A small gossamer-winged butterfly of western North America, the Acmon Blue is named for the distinctive row of orange spots edged with metallic blue-green that runs along its hindwing margin. Males sport brilliant iridescent blue upperwings; females are mostly brown with the same vivid orange border.
