The Yellow Daylily, Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus, is a perennial plant that thrives in temperate climates and is native to China, northeastern Italy, and Slovenia. One of the first daylilies to be bred into new cultivars, it produces large, bright yellow blooms that bloom for one day before wilting.
