About
A tiny, secretive frog that skips the tadpole stage entirely, hatching directly from eggs laid in moist soil as fully formed froglets. Its range in Texas has expanded well beyond its native Rio Grande Valley thanks to accidental hitchhiking in shipments of potted nursery plants.
