Wilson's Bird-of-Paradise is a brilliantly coloured passerine endemic to the islands of Waigeo and Batanta in Indonesia, where the male sports a bare electric-blue crown, scarlet-and-black mantle, and a pair of violet curled tail wires unlike any other bird on Earth.
Life cycle
