About
The Sudan Mastigure is a stocky spiny-tailed agamid lizard from the Saharan belt of Africa; adult males are dramatically patterned in jet-black with vivid yellow spots. Its thick, spine-ringed tail is wielded as a bludgeoning weapon and used to plug the entrance of its burrow against predators.
