An ancient natural breed from the Ankara region of Turkey, prized for its long silky single-layer coat and elegant build. Many Turkish Angoras carry the white gene paired with striking odd (heterochromatic) eyes — one blue, one amber or green — a combination sometimes linked to partial deafness on the blue-eyed side.
