The White-jawed Jumping Spider is a slender, iridescent jumper common in gardens and tall grass across eastern North America, with males sporting bright white chelicerae (jaws) used in courtship displays. Like all jumping spiders, it stalks prey on foot and pounces with pinpoint accuracy instead of building a web.
