About
A large, loose-skinned scenthound descended from the St. Hubert's Hound of medieval Belgium, bred over centuries for an extraordinary sense of smell. With roughly 300 million scent receptors and long pendulous ears that sweep ground odors toward its nose, a Bloodhound can follow a trail more than 300 hours old — and its nose evidence is legally admissible in US courts.
