About

A slender, fast-moving colubrid of South Asian scrub and gardens, named for the coppery-bronze sheen along its back that fades to a pale grey-blue toward the tail. It hunts by day among branches and foliage, relying on speed and keen eyesight rather than venom to catch frogs and lizards.
