About

A plain, dusty-brown bulbul named for the faint pale streaking on its ear coverts, common in gardens and scrubland across Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, and southern Indochina. Despite its unassuming looks, it has one of the most familiar and frequently heard songs of Southeast Asian towns.

Life cycle
