About
The Emerald Tree Boa is a vivid green arboreal snake of the Amazon Basin, instantly recognisable by its bold white lightning-bolt dorsal markings and its characteristic coiled drape over branches. Its recurved front teeth are among the longest of any non-venomous snake relative to body size, allowing it to snatch fast-moving birds and lizards from the air.
