Bird's Nest Fern is an epiphytic tropical fern whose broad, undivided fronds radiate from a fibrous central rosette that collects fallen debris to build its own nutrient-rich compost. Unlike most ferns with divided leaflets, each frond is a single strap-shaped blade that can exceed a metre in length in the wild forest canopy.
