Native to South Asia, the Common Myna is listed among the IUCN's 100 worst invasive species, having colonised cities on every inhabited continent by outcompeting native birds for nest cavities. Its bold yellow bill and bare yellow eye-ring contrast sharply with glossy black-and-brown plumage.
