About

Red clover is a short-lived perennial with distinctive globe-shaped, pinkish-red flower heads made up of dozens of tiny tubular florets, each visited by bumblebees whose long tongues can reach the nectar hidden deep inside. As a legume, it fixes nitrogen from the air into the soil through root nodule bacteria.
