The sitatunga, also known as the marshbuck, is a swamp-dwelling medium-sized antelope found throughout central Africa. Sitatungas are herbivores and feed on grass, leaves, and fruits.

Life cycle

   A wobbly calf stands within hours of birth and stays close to its mother in the herd.

   A weaned juvenile grazes alongside adults, develops budding horns, and learns herd hierarchy.
