About
The Western Crowned-Pigeon is the world's largest living pigeon, native to lowland forests of western New Guinea, and can weigh over 2 kg. It wears a spectacular fan-shaped crest of delicate lacy blue-grey feathers and produces deep, resonant booming calls during courtship.
Life cycle
