The Blue Linckia is a strikingly vivid sea star found across Indo-Pacific coral reefs, ranging from electric cobalt to pale sky-blue. Remarkably, a single severed arm can regenerate an entirely new body, making it one of the most extreme examples of autotomy in the animal kingdom.
