About

A small indoor cockroach named for the two light bands crossing its wings, the brown-banded cockroach prefers warmer, drier spots than its kitchen-dwelling cousins, often nesting near ceilings and inside electronics. Males can fly short distances when disturbed, a rarity among common household roaches.
