About

A German ornamental breed prized for its extraordinarily long, flowing tail feathers, which in roosters can trail several feet and, unlike most fowl, are never molted off entirely. Phoenixes descend from Japanese long-tailed Onagadori stock crossed with hardier European breeds to improve vigor while keeping the dramatic plumage.
