About
The boa constrictor is a large, non-venomous snake found from Mexico to Argentina that kills prey by coiling tightly around it until the animal's heart stops — not by crushing bones, but by cutting off blood circulation. Adults commonly reach 3–4 metres in length and can live over 30 years.
