About
The One-spotted Variant is a geometrid moth named for the single dark discal spot on each forewing, though its base color and banding vary enormously between individuals, from pale gray to rich reddish-brown. Its caterpillar is a twig-mimicking inchworm that holds rigidly still to pass for a broken branch.
