About
Blanchard's Cricket Frog is a tiny, warty North American frog rarely longer than an inch, named for its clicking mating call that sounds like two pebbles being tapped together. Despite being a true frog, it has poor jumping stamina and relies on quick, erratic hops to escape predators along muddy pond edges.
