About
The Asian Common Toad is one of the most widespread amphibians in South and Southeast Asia, immediately recognisable by its large, conspicuous parotoid glands. These glands secrete potent bufadienolide toxins capable of killing predators that attempt to swallow it, including dogs and snakes.
Life cycle
