About

The Lakeland Terrier hails from England's Lake District, where it was bred to work alone in rocky fell dens, chasing foxes that threatened Herdwick sheep flocks. Its harsh, wiry coat and squared-off beard give it a jaunty, almost formal look despite being one of the smallest working terriers still bred for the job today.
