About

Common purslane is a low-growing annual succulent that sprawls across disturbed ground on every continent except Antarctica. Remarkably, it is one of the only plants capable of switching between two photosynthesis pathways — C4 during the day and CAM at night — letting it thrive in both hot sun and drought.
